SKK を使っていたが，MozcにGUI設定が追加されたことを知り，変換をMozcに変えてみた． 基本的にはここの指示に従った．ただ５月に一度導入したこともあったので，そのソースディレクトリは改名して，あらたにレポジトリを投入した．

scim を入れないコンパイルオプションもあるはずだが，とりあえず

$ sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev scim libscim-dev 
$ sudo apt-get install gyp
$ mkdir -p ~/src/mozc           
$ cd ~/src/mozc         
$ svn co http://mozc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src               
$ cd src
$ debuild -uc -us

ただ Emacsでのインライン入力がなんとなく気に入らない上，安定しないので，結局，SKKに戻してしまったけど
